Hunger in the Valley
W. S. Adams
My name is Wesley Adams, and I am an aspiring writer based out of Knoxville, TN. Writing under the moniker of W. S. Adams, my stories lean towards the dark, spooky, and macabre. Currently working on short stories and flash fiction to build up my catalogue. Constantly writing my first novel, which I’m calling “Hunger in the Valley” during its’ development. My behind the scenes blog detailing the process (struggle, more often than not) of writing my first novel goes by the same name.
Behind the Scenes Blog: Hunger in the Valley
I have always been an avid reader and writing a novel has been something that I wanted to accomplish for years now. But how does one write a novel? Well, I’m trying to figure that out! If you have been wondering the same thing, or if you simply enjoy watching someone fail repeatedly and break things in frustration, this is the blog for you! I will be documenting my very first attempt at writing a full length novel, complete with all of my mistakes, successes, and all of the learning experiences in between on a weekly basis. There will be highs and there will be lows. I’m sure that on occasion it will be funny and it will sometimes be sad. One thing I can promise is that it will be honest. No sugarcoating here.
The working title for this novel is “Hunger in the Valley” and the behind the scenes blog will be going by the same name. Along the way I will be writing short stories and flash fiction to submit to various publishers in the hopes for being included in anthologies/other projects. These adventures will also be documented in the blog! So if you enjoy a good spooky story, please check back weekly to follow along with my progress and, if you feel the need to offer a poor struggling writer some encouragement, drop me some comments on the blog.
The best way to keep up with new posts to the behind the scenes “Hunger in the Valley” blog is by clicking the Twitter symbol in this section and giving me a follow. If you prefer to do things manually, you can find me on Twitter under @WSAdamsStories. Each new post to the blog will be announced on there directly after it is published to the website.
